  4. BOISE, ID. - Bourbaki, Inc. announces the release of Wonder Plus 3.51, its DOS
  5. Management System, with enhanced Windows support.  The latest version provides
  6. the capability to run 1dir+ from a Windows Icon.  This new feature eliminates
  7. the need to exit Windows to perform file management operations, the most often
  8. cited reason Windows users exit to DOS.  The flexibility and power of 1dir+ as
  9. a file management tool, combined with the Windows GUI, can make PC systems and
  10. networks more manageable than ever.

  12. Customizable Trees, Extended File Descriptions, Expanded Tree Management
  13. Commands, Program Launch capability and Custom Menuing system make it the
  14. most customizable shell available.

  16. "Outliner" technology in the Tree lets you Expand and Collapse directories,
  17. and SAVE the configuration with only the directories you want displayed.  As
  18. drives get bigger with more directories, Tree structures become unwieldy.  
  19. Wonder Plus provides a solution.  Multi-user capability is perfect for network
  20. drives, where each user can have their own tree.

  22. Extended File Descriptions make file identification quick, adding "meaning" 
  23. beyond the inadequate eleven character DOS limit.  Enter and display literal 
  24. descriptions of files, up to 38 characters long.  An enhanced Locate command 
  25. lets you search the current directory or the entire drive for descriptions
  26. containing a specific keyword or string.

  28. Enhanced Tree Operations for organizing and reorganizing your system include:
  29. Prune, Graft, and X-Copy.  With Prune you can delete files and remove a 
  30. directory, or an entire "branch" of directories, in a single operation.  Use 
  31. Graft to "move" a directory, or entire branch of directories, from one 
  32. directory node to another, or across drives.  Use X-Copy to copy a directory,
  33. or branch of directories, from one node to another, or across drives.  
  34. Security features let you selectively disable any or all of the Tree 
  35. Operations.

  37. Program Launch adds a new dimension to the "point & shoot" environment with 
  38. "One Command Does All" capability.  Customize a single command to run specific
  39. commands or programs, based on the file extensions associated with an 
  40. application, or the directory that you are in.  Point at a .WKS or .WK1 file 
  41. and run Lotus 123; point at a .DWG file and run AutoCAD; point at a .BAK file 
  42. and erase it; point at a file in any directory with C:\WP50 in the path and 
  43. run WordPerfect with the file you are pointing at...

  45. Wonder Plus runs on all IBM PC, AT, 3270/AT, PS/2, and compatible machines.  
  46. Its configurability makes it a perfect multi-user shell for novice to advanced 
  47. users.  It is compatible with most networks, including Novell Netware, IBM 
  48. Token Ring, 3COM, Banyan Vines, Alloy, Community DOS/DEC Net, Multi-Link 
  49. Advanced, and others.  Wonder Plus requires DOS 2.XX, or higher (including 
  50. DOS 6.0), 256K available memory, and a hard disk (Systems with two 720K 3.5" 
  51. drives are also acceptable).
